Graduated from Oregon State University with BS in History, 1981.
Servied in United States Air Force for almost 15 years (5 years active duty, 9 ½ Air Force Reserves). Achieved the rank of Major.
Earned teaching credentials from Eastern Oregon State College.
Taught in Helix, Oregon from 1988 - 1992
Became a member of the McLoughlin High School teaching staff in 1992.
Graduated from Sam Houston State University with MA in History, 2005.
