Introduction To CAD
Introduction to Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is a basic course in drafting principals and application. This is an excellent foundation course for any career in Industrial and Engineering Technology. Students will learn about drafting careers, design and sketching, geometry for drafting, multiview drawing, and dimensioning.
Intermediate CAD
Intermediate CAD is a continuation of the skills learned in Intro to CAD. Student will learn about sectional views, auxiliary views, descriptive geometry, fasteners, pictorial drawing, working drawings, and architectural drafting. Students may earn a dual credit with BMCC upon successful completion of Intro to CAD and Intermediate CAD.
Prerequisite: Intro. To CAD and instructors approval
Advanced CAD
Advanced CAD is a continuation of the skills learned in Intro and intermediate CAD. Students will learn about solid modeling. Solid modeling is drafting in 3D. This is state of the art industrial standard course. Students may earn a dual credit with BMCC upon successful completion.
