Our Tech Prep courses are dual credit courses with college credit available through Walla Walla Community College or Blue Mountain Community College.
We also offer Computer Applications and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).

The Technical Preparation (tech prep) is designed to help students learn about some of the technical fields that are available as a career or job choice and to teach them the skills they need to succeed in those fields. Currently we offer the following courses:
Oracle Academy
New this year at Mac-Hi, the Oracle Academy Database Design and Programming course teaches students the essential skills of data modeling and SQL programming. At the end of the program, students are prepared to take the Oracle 9i: Intro to SQL exam. This exam is the first step in the Oracle certification process.

Web Design and Graphics
In this course students learn how to design and create web sites and web graphics. Students in this class are the Mac-Hi web team responsible for maintaining and updating the 200+ page Mac-Hi web site. By the end of the semester you will be prepared to take the optional W3 Schools Web Certification exam.
Cisco Networking Academy
The Cisco Networking Academy is a four semester program that trains students in network set up, management and troubleshooting. At the successful completion of the program, students are prepared to take the challenging Cisco Certified Network Associate exam to earn the industry recognized professional certification (CCNA).
