I was born and raised in Minnesota, in a town about the size of Milton-Freewater. I graduated from high school in 1988 and attended a community college in St. Paul. After changing my major several times I graduated in 1995 from Montana State University-Billings with a degree in Spanish Education. I began teaching Spanish at Mac-Hi in 1996 and earned my Master’s degree from Bemidji State University in 2005. When I’m not teaching I enjoy reading, sewing, knitting, biking and playing tennis.
